CHENNAI: DMK president M K Stalin on Saturday criticised the TVK govt in Tamil Nadu for the “widespread power outages” in the state.In a post on X, the former chief minister wondered what the condition of ordinary citizens could be when even the state ministers were subject to frequent power disruptions during their programmes. To substantiate his claim, Stalin attached video clips of power outages occurring during official functions featuring TVK ministers, including Aadhav Arjuna, C T R Nirmal Kumar, K A Sengottaiyan and P Viswanathan.Stalin alleged that chief minister C Joseph Vijay’s recent visit to the electricity board headquarters was a publicity stunt aimed at creating social media reels rather than conducting a genuine administrative review.
