Chennai: Chief minister C Joseph Vijay is scheduled to campaign in Madurantakam on Sept 28, when he will address a public meeting at Acharapakkam for TVK candidate K Maragatham Kumaravel. Senior leaders from rival parties are also preparing constituency tours ahead of the Oct 6 bypoll.TVK workers have begun preparing a 10-acre site near Vajragiri hills for Vijay’s meeting. Stage work, seating, parking and other infrastructure are being readied at the venue.AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami is scheduled to campaign on Sept 25 and 26 for party candidate K Kanitha Sampath. Local units are organising meetings and voter outreach along his route.DMK president M K Stalin is expected to campaign for two days for I Paranthamen, though a detailed schedule is yet to be announced. Udhayanidhi Stalin is also expected to join the campaign. NTK chief coordinator Seeman will campaign in Madurantakam on Sept 26, 27 and 30 for party candidate K Janakiraman.
