Chennai: Syrma SGS Technology plans to set up a joint venture with Japan-based Kaga Electronics India and has agreed to establish, develop and operate an advanced electronics manufacturing services (EMS) facility in India. The joint venture will focus on Japanese clients. The company will own 60% of the equity, while Kaga will own 40% and is subject to customary conditions precedent, it said in an exchange filing.Syrma reported FY26 performance with 27% revenue growth and 87% in PAT on a yearly basis, in part driven by growth in exports, and the company expects the growth trajectory to continue based on geographic and product portfolio expansion, Jasbir Singh Gujral, managing director of Syrma SGS Technology, told TOI in May.
