Chennai: Finance minister Marie Wilson on Monday alleged corruption in giving permission to private schools during the DMK govt.During the debate on demand for grants for school education and higher education, he said: “During the previous govt, the school education department collected money from private schools. I witnessed this in the first hand and affected party. The former school education minister can file a defamation suit against me. I can tell how much money I paid in T Nagar. I can also tell how much money collected from minority schools.”Anbil Mahesh flayed Wilson. “Everybody knows that the one who offers a bribe and the one who receives it are punishable. How did the speaker allow this in the House? We will file a complaint against the minister in this regard,” Mahesh told reporters at DMK headquarters.
