Chennai: Intellect Design Arena has set its sights on Rs 5,000 crore in revenue over the next three years, driven by a range of newly built AI solutions and targeting new customer segments, including global capability centres and fintech companies, according to the company’s founder and chairperson, Arun Jain.The financial technology company is ramping up its product portfolio with AI offerings, which include a platform for governance and unifying different enterprise data systems. “We have another product coming in from our research team. Across all products put together we expect in the next two to three years an additional opportunity of Rs 1,000 crore to 5,000 crore,” he said.Intellect traditionally serves bank and financial institutions and is expanding into newer areas and geographies with its AI products. He said the company’s products are gaining ground among GCCs, fintech companies, and insurance players. Intellect is rolling out the technology across 20 pre-identified countries including the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, UAE, and Singapore utilising its extensive global distribution network. The company released an AI tool that helps enterprises building AI solutions understand how it impacts other systems.Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Jain said AI is disrupting the traditional IT services models and investment in research and development is crucial and it has to be cultivated in the company’s culture, adding that they invest approximately around Rs 400 crore annually on research and product development with large teams.The company released an AI tool that helps enterprises use AI models better and understand how they affect other systems. “While AI can generate code, it does not inherently understand the complex, fragmented systems of the bank it is changing. To solve this, the system makes institutional knowledge connected and links business rules, operations, compliance and technology,” Jain said. Intellect has filed 39 patents for this engineering system.
