Chennai: IIT Madras has partnered with Bridge Green Upcycle to develop technologies for battery recycling and resource recovery. The partnership will focus on developing technologies using artificial intelligence, advanced materials science and process innovation to recover critical minerals from battery waste. The collaboration comes amid rising demand for critical minerals and efforts to reduce import dependence by improving resource recovery and battery circularity in India, according to a statement.
