Cleared/AliCoimbatore: Tamizhaga Vivasayigal Paadhugappu Sangam has urged the Tamil Nadu govt to revise the quality specifications for milk procurement from Fat 4.3 and SNF 8.2 to Fat 4.0 and SNF 8.0 and fix the procurement rate at Rs 44.In a statement here on Tuesday, state secretary of the association’s IT wing M Gopalakrishnan said the group had petitioned the milk and dairy development minister C Vijayalakshmi seeking to revise the quality specification.The association said that under the current announcement, producers would get a maximum of Rs 41.35.
