CHENNAI: GK Vasan led Tamil Manila Congress (TMC) pulled out of BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Sunday. Sources in TMC said that the party is likely to join DMK alliance. TMC president G K Vasan told reporters that he has no issues with the alliance parties but still he chose to quit the alliance for the sake of strengthening his party.The decision to quit NDA was taken in the executive council meeting held in ChennaiTMC contested in five seats as part of NDA in the recently concluded 2026 assembly election and drew a blank. It was also reported that TMC was upset at the constituencies allocated by AIADMK.
