CHENNAI: Ten suburban EMU services will be partially cancelled between Chengalpet and Tambaram on Tuesday (Oct 6) due to an engineering and signal block on the Chennai Egmore–Villupuram section.Southern Railway said a line block/signal block has been permitted between Guduvancheri and Tambaram from 11.30am to 3pm as part of ongoing engineering work, prioritising passenger safety and safe train operations.Five Chengalpet–Chennai Beach EMU services leaving Chengalpet at 11.50am, 12.30pm, 1.05pm, 1.35pm and 2.15pm will be partially cancelled between Chengalpet and Tambaram.In the opposite direction, five Chennai Beach–Chengalpet services leaving Chennai Beach at 10.13am, 10.48am, 11.28am, 12.02pm and 12.30pm will also be partially cancelled between Tambaram and Chengalpet.
