Chennai: Tesla India has expanded its retail and after-sales presence in Tamil Nadu with the opening of its first Experience Centre in Chennai at Express Avenue Mall and a Tesla-approved collision centre in Poonamallee.The Experience Centre will allow customers in Chennai and across Tamil Nadu to experience Tesla vehicles, take test drives, place orders and receive delivery locally. The company said the Poonamallee facility will provide collision repair and service support, including access to genuine Tesla parts, trained technicians, software-aware diagnostics and Tesla-approved repair processes.The US-based EV maker currently offers the Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive (priced at Rs 50.89 lakh) and Model Y L All-Wheel Drive (Rs 61.99 lakh) in India. Both models receive new features through over-the-air software updates, including access to Tesla’s AI assistant Grok, which is available in several Indian languages.
