Natural Star Nani’s much-awaited action thriller ‘The Paradise’, directed by Srikanth Odela, is gearing up for its theatrical release on September 24. Ahead of its worldwide debut, the film has received approval from the Telangana Home Department for a hike in ticket prices. The government order also permits a special screening of the film on September 23, a day before its official release.
‘The Paradise’ gets ticket price hike in Telangana
According to the notice issued by the Telangana Home Department, theatres have been permitted to charge revised ticket prices for The Paradise during the approved period. The order also allows a special show on September 23 at 6:30 PM, with tickets priced at Rs. 500, inclusive of GST. The revised ticket rates will be applicable for up to five shows per day during the permitted period. Advance bookings for select shows of the Nani-starrer have already opened in parts of Telangana.
‘The Paradise’ ticket prices from September 24 to September 27
The revised ticket rates will initially remain in effect from September 24 to September 27. During this period, single-screen theatres can charge an additional Rs. 48, including GST, over the existing ticket price. For multiplexes and special theatres, the permitted hike is Rs. 95, including GST. The revised rates are part of the special pricing approval granted for the film around its theatrical release.
‘The Paradise’ ticket prices from September 28 to October 3
The ticket-price hike will subsequently be reduced from September 28 to October 3. During this second period, single-screen theatres can charge an additional Rs. 23, including GST, while multiplexes and special theatres can charge an additional Rs. 45. The government approval also comes with certain conditions for the production house and participating theatres.
‘The Paradise’ makers asked to contribute Rs. 1 crore to welfare committee
As part of the approval, the production house Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas has been directed to contribute Rs. 1 crore to the Telugu Film Industry Employees Welfare Committee. Theatres screening the film have also been instructed to run advertisements and awareness messages highlighting the harmful effects of narcotics and drugs. In addition, cybercrime awareness messages are to be displayed as part of the conditions attached to the approval.

‘The Paradise’ marks Nani’s second collaboration with director Srikanth Odela after their successful 2023 film ‘Dasara’. The upcoming movie is positioned as an action thriller with a socially rooted storyline. The film revolves around a tribal community that has been denied basic rights for years. The story follows their struggle against an oppressive system and centres on the emergence of a new leader who challenges the forces that have kept the community marginalised for generations. With Srikanth Odela returning to collaborate with Nani, ‘The Paradise’ has generated considerable anticipation ahead of its theatrical release.
‘The Paradise’ cast and multilingual release
Alongside Nani, the film features Kayadu Lohar, Raghav Juyal, Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni and Sampoornesh Babu in important roles. Keerthy Suresh is also set to make a special appearance.‘The Paradise’ is planned as a multilingual release and is scheduled to arrive in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, English, Bengali and Spanish. With the September 23 special show and revised ticket prices now approved in Telangana, the Nani-starrer is set for a major theatrical launch from September 24.
