Salem: Salem corporation has launched an awareness campaign for school and college students, focusing on solid waste management, population census and dengue control measures.Daily activities on waste segregation and mosquito eradication are being carried out in corporation limits, with awareness extended to the general public. “In addition, students are being sensitized through morning assemblies and special sessions conducted by health inspectors,” corporation commissioner Lalith Aditya Neelam said.The commissioner hoped that this initiative would instil civic responsibility among students and strengthen the city’s ongoing cleanliness and public health efforts.(Photos: AM Shudhagar)
