Chennai: Tamil Nadu govt has appointed eight additional advocates-general and 83 other law officers to represent the state in the principal and Madurai benches of Madras high court.Senior advocates P V Balasubramaniam, T Gowtham, advocates B Saravanan, A Abdul Hameed, J Barathan, S Arjun Suresh, S Kumaresan, and Kavitha Nithyanandhan have been appointed as additional advocates-general.Advocates M Guruprasad and M P Senthil have been appointed as govt pleaders for the principal and Madurai benches of Madras high court respectively.Advocates Ilamvaludhi, P Kalpa Reddy, A R Suresh, R Sankar, V Prasad, R Gouri, Veeramani, G Dhana Madhri, P Elayarajkumar, C Prabakaran, Inthu Karunakaran, Mohammed Fayaz Ali, M Sivavarthanan, V Chandraprabhu, K Surendar, Domnic Savio David, S Siva Thilagar, K Porkodi, M Kannan, T Thirumurugan, C Jeganathan, R Parthiban, I Pinaygash, and M Mohaboob Athiff have been appointed as special govt pleaders.
