Chennai: We the Leaders founder K Annamalai on Monday said that corruption has been contained by TVK govt.“I have personally paid a price for corruption. I have fought a legal battle and stepped into courts. I will be the first person to welcome the TVK govt if they do good to Tamil Nadu. I will welcome whoever contains corruption. Now, as a civilised citizen, I am very very happy that the corruption has been contained. Finally, someone has started it,” Annamalai said at a function in New Jersey in the USA.The former BJP president said TVK govt should be given one year’s time before it was judged. “We need political discipline. We need to give time of at least one year to the newly formed govt. We should not form barriers. More than half of the ministers are fresh and had not even been councillors. They need time to understand governance and its various components,” Annamalai said.
